VIPER Modular Video Data Cards VP-6000 Series
 The
VIPER Video Data Cards fit into the 4-Slot or 10-Slot VIPER
Chassis and allows Video transmission up to 4600 feet (1400
meters) over a single UTP cable. Each Card supports up to
4 cameras and passes 1.5 amps of 28 volt power to each camera.
The pan, tilt, zoom function is attained by using the VP-6001
Pan, Tilt, Zoom card in the 10-Slot Chassis. The P-T-Z function
is standard in the 4-Slot Chassis.
Active Frequency Compensation tracks the Automatic Gain Control
and self adjusts for the best performance. Protection from
power, static or electrical interference is built in the VP-6002
Gain Control card.
A passive non-powered system can be achieved by using VP-6011
Passive Cards.
Expansion and modifications are easily accomplished and allows
the user a custom video surveillance system with no interruption
in service. All modifications and expansions can be done while
the system is fully functioning.
In situations where there is excessive current draw on any
single camera port, the camera port shuts down, waits and
then retries. The other cameras remain fully operational.
The VIPER Installation System has been designed from the ground
up to take advantage of UTP Structured Cable architecture.
By taking advantage of current standards based methods, a
simple and cost effective Video Surveillance installation
is assured. Moves, Adds and Changes are simplified for the
future.
