At LAN Power Systems we are committed
to your satisfaction with our Products. A full 2 year Warranty
is standard and included with every purchase. If you are having
any sort of trouble using our products, just let us know and
we will help you. Our many years of experience help us to understand
and quickly resolve most User site issues. We'll help in any
way we can while working hard to bring our End Users the Flexibility,
Simplicity and Value they deserve.
Warranty Policy
LAN Power Systems warrants that all products shall be free
of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 24
months (2 years) from the date of product purchase and will
repair or replace defective products within the Warranty period.
This Warranty is void if upon our examination of the product,
it is determined by LAN Power Systems that the defect or malfunction
occurred as a result of accident, misuse, neglect, alteration,
improper installation, or unauthorized repair attempts. This
Warranty is in lieu of all other Warranties, expressed or
implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness for the particular product's
purpose. There is no Warranty coverage, expressed or implied,
beyond the repair or replacement of the LAN Power Systems
Products.
Product Repair under Warranty
Upon determination that a product may be defective, the Customer
should contact LAN Power Systems by phone at 866-674-0384
or by e-mail at support@lan-power.com
or through the "Contact LAN Power
for Support" button at the Support home page. If
it is determined that the product is malfunctioning, a Return
Material Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions
will be issued by LAN Power Systems personnel.
A handling fee of $75.00 plus shipping costs may be charged
for all units that are returned without the authorization
of LAN Power Systems (returned without an RMA #) and found
to be non-faulty. LAN Power Systems will provide general support
services at no additional charge during the warranty period.
All support offered is at LAN Power Systems' discretion.
The general support services provided are in the following
areas:
- General inquires regarding product information, features,
operational specifications, PoE compatibility, pre-installation,
product ordering
- Assistance in troubleshooting and diagnostic testing for
product deficiencies or incompatibilities with PoE Standard
- Post-installation product failures or operational difficulties
Warranty services do not include support for on-site installation,
staging, remote diagnostic access, product moves or changes,
maintenance or application support and training. Installation
Guides are available for all LAN Power Systems Products online
at www.lan-power.com.
Product Repair out of Warranty
LAN Power Systems will also repair units that are out of
Warranty (more than 2 years old). The cost of the repair charge
must be pre-paid by the Customer at a fee of 35% of the unit's
current List price, call or write for an out of Warranty repair
price quote. The Warranty for the repaired product is then
1 year. LAN Power Systems will support and repair or replace
all currently shipping products. We may also support and repair
or replace any discontinued product at our discretion. If
upon inspection, the product is not repairable, a replacement
unit may be offered if available. Please call us and describe
your out of Warranty product situation and we will promptly
assist you.
Product Return (RMA) Process
An RMA request for unit return must be made to LAN Power
Systems by phone at 866-674-0384 or by fax at 866-673-9083
or by e-mail to support@lan-power.com.
The Customer will be required to inform LAN Power Systems
of who they are (Customer's Name, Address, phone #, and Contact
Person), how they purchased the product (what Sales Channel
it was purchased from and approximately when), a detailed
description of the unit problem(s) and the unit Serial Number(s)
information (found on the product label).
An e-mail notification providing the Customer with the RMA
number, ship- to address and products approved for return
to LAN Power Systems will follow within 2 business days. The
RMA number provided to Customer MUST be properly marked on
the shipping label of each package returned. Example: "Attn:
RMA # 123".
The Customer will be responsible for all shipment charges
to the LAN Power Systems Product Test and Repair location
(in Northern California, USA). LAN Power Systems shall have
a reasonable amount of time (generally 3-5 days) to make
repairs and re-ship the unit(s) via UPS ground, freight
prepaid by LAN Power Systems for all products repaired or
replaced under Warranty. If the Customer wants return freight
other than UPS Ground, they can provide their shipping preference
and account information to LAN Power Systems who will then
ship the product return per the Customer's shipping instructions.
