PoE Voltage Adapters

The LAN Power PoE Voltage Adapters allow for connection and powering of low voltage devices over LAN Data Cable Systems. These are devices not made ready for Standards based PoE from their Manufacturers. Example End devices include Security Cameras, Access Controllers, Temperature and other sensing or measuring devices, Lighting controllers and many other devices.

PoE Voltage Adapters - Summary of Key Product Features

Flexibility
PoE Voltage Adapters accept IEEE802.3af style (48volt) PoE input. Input may be from a PoE enabled Ethernet Switch or a Midspan PoE Hub or Single Port PoE Injector. Their internal circuitry then reduces the voltage output to match the requirement of the End device needing power. You may specify 24volt, 12volt or 5volt power output by selecting one of 3 different models available.

Since Manufacturers use a variety of power pin connectors in their End devices, LAN Power builds the Voltage Adapters to accept a separate 6" power pin cable. The Power Connection Cables come in popular power pin sizes including 2.5mm, 2.1mm or 1.1mm center pins or 2 bare wires for screw terminal power connections. A 12" Cat 5e Data connection patch cord is also necessary if a Data connection is needed for the End device.

Simplicity
Install the Voltage Adapter at the End device to be powered. Connect it into the LAN Data cable system. PoE flows through and is converted into the correct power style for the End device to operate. No difficult set up is required. Simple plug in and go operation. Two LEDs confirm the Voltage Adapter is operating properly.

Cost effective
A Single Port Power over Ethernet Injector and a Voltage Adapter and Connection cables can be purchased by the End user for around $125. Why spend 3 or 4 times that much just to get a 110volt outlet installed at the spot where you need 12 volts for a new End device? A LAN Power solution will always be one third to one fourth the cost compared to purchasing a new 110volt outlet. Plus, with PoE, you can also choose to have battery backup with a UPS in the wiring closet so that the End device will remain operational during any unexpected loss of building power.

Full 2 year Warranty
The PoE Voltage Adapter family, like all LAN Power Systems products, comes with a quality and performance warranty lasting 2 full years.

Other Manufacturer's "Splitters" or "Converters" cannot match the Flexibility, Simplicity and Value of LAN Power's PoE Voltage Adapter family.
